+A special work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Sioux Falls District Council is operating a Thrift Store in northeastern SF. Plans are in place to build a second location on the corner of 41st Street and Ellis Road in 2023. Earnings from the store are used to directly assist those in need by helping to pay rent, utilities, food, clothing, household and transportation needs, prescriptions, and other necessities. Please prayerfully consider supporting this project which will provide job training and low-cost goods to residents in western Sioux Falls. Please send donations to:

+Expectant moms and young mothers, you are invited to attend the “Under Mary’s Mantle” meetings on topics of mothering during the early years beginning Wednesday, June 26th at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room at Holy Spirit Parish. This series of 5 bi-weekly meetings are based on writings of renowned Catholic authors and covers topics such as pregnancy, nutrition, the first three years, Scripture verses, etc. Our topic on June 26th is Pregnancy and the Role of Good Nutrition. 3rd Friday - Pray for those suffering with mental health issues and addictions

4th Friday – Pray for souls in purgatory

5th Friday – Pray for family healing

 

Please meet in the cemetery office parking lot for those who want to walk. The chapel will also be open.
