+A “Forgiveness and Mercy” Healing Retreat will be offered Fri. & Sat., July 19th & 20th at St. Benedict Catholic Parish, Yankton, SD. Participants can expect to “experience the healing love of God” in a retreat led by Fr. Richard McAlear, OMI. The opening Mass begins at 7 p.m. Friday. Saturday will consist of a series of talks, reconciliation, and prayer ministry concluding Saturday evening with a Healing Mass at 7 p.m. Greg DeJean will lead the weekend as MC. +Grieving the Loss of a Spouse: Directed by Dr. Marcie Moran, this non-denominational program is for adults who have lost a spouse and are trying to cope with the pain of separation and loss. Role Change and loneliness are secondary losses which can complicate the grieving process. The program will offer assistance in coping with this change and making healthy readjustments.  St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to help make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for July-August are available in the Gathering Space.
