+The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra presents a "Stained Glass Concert" with the Dakota Wind Quintet Sunday, February 24 at 2:30 pm at St. Katharine Drexel Parish. This extraordinary program explores a diverse collection of works by Lee Hoiby, Paul Hindemith, Harald Genzmer, and others. +19th Annual Catholic Family Services Gift of Hope Concert: Join us Saturday, March 23rd at 3 p.m. or 7 p.m. at the O’Gorman High School Performing Arts Center for the Gift of Hope Concert featuring Mark Schultz. Proceeds will benefit the Catholic Family Services’ Gift of Hope Fund. Through this fund, CFS is able to provide programs like “Camp Sydney,” a youth grief camp, suicide prevention services, and adoption services in communities across the diocese.

+Looking for a way to truly live the Gospel? Are you looking for a way to live your faith? Would you like to spend a weekend that will change your life forever? Residents Encounter Christ (REC), a prison ministry, is looking for volunteers. As it says in Matthew 25:36, “I was in prison and you came to visit me”. We have a retreat coming up the weekend of Fri.-Sun., April 5-7th. No formal training is necessary—just a desire to live out the Gospel and see these men for who they are: Children of God. Catholic Daughters Court Mother Teresa awards a $300 scholarship annually to a graduating senior attending a post-secondary school in the fall semester. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, May 1st. Application forms for the scholarship are now available in the Parish Office.

Our St. Katharine Drexel Parish Vocations Committee invites you to pray for vocations, especially for those in our parish who are considering the vocation of priesthood, religious life, or the permanent diaconate. Please join our Vocations Committee in our Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration for the intention of vocations on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and a Rosary for vocations each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.

 St. Katharine Drexel Parish serves supper at the St. Francis House (1301 E. Austin St.) on    the 3rd Friday evening of each month. Four people are needed to come at 5:30 p.m. to   help  make and serve supper and 3 people are needed to bake goodies for dessert. The    sign-up sheets for March-May are available in the Gathering Space.

You are invited to join members of our parish at 3 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays in front of Planned Parenthood (6511 W. 41st Street) to pray for a greater respect for all human life from conception to natural death. We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary and would love to have you join us.
